TuEsDaY

Well, I am off to a rough start today. I got ready for work in my usual routine, and headed out the door for a fun filled day of citations and paperwork, and school there after. I get into my car, and turn the key, and NOTHING happened. No clicking, no starting noises, nothing. So I sit there a few and think over my options.... I had so many. Wake Larry up, or Wake Larry up. Poor Larry. He works late into the night, so I am sure that 0730 os way too early for him.

I called my boss first to let her know of my unfortunate circumstance, and she was fine with it. It couldn't possibly be the battery, I just put a brand new platinum grade battery in it.

He drug himself out of bed, put on some warm clothes (it is freaking freezing outside) and headed out with me! Well, being not fully awake, when he loosened the screw that holds the cable to the battery, it fell. We both ended up laying on the cold assed ground, and he wedged himself as far under my car as he could get. (by this time I have changed out of my nice work clothes: black skirt, white shirt and sandals) We could not find it, I think my engine ate it. So off to Discount Auto we went. Bummer man.

The good news is that he thinks it was just corrosion, and he got it to start. The bad news is why the hell is a brand new flippin battery corroded already? I mean it is like a month old.

I am trying to make the best out of this, and since it was my short day anyways, I asked muh boss if I could just cut my losses and take some Annual leave. I am going to turn it into a study day for statistics.

Ruth came by the other day, and we went to Publix... I never thought grocery shopping could be such an adventure. Poor Larry once again. We got into all kinds of shit. Pepsi had a really cool display. I could only get half of it...

the other half was to the left and said GO I thought it was pretty damned neat!

It is a small world. A. gave me this really awesome link, and today Carmel emailed it to me. Did you know that you can find your licence online? All you have to do is type in your name and state, it comes up with your photo and all. I really did not think much about it, cause we have access to all Florida Licenses at work through a program called DAVID. It is only for police work, so I thought it was pretty cool that it is now accessable to the public.

Well I gotta make the most of my semi stolen day, and get to working on statistics. I have a test on Thursday, and then another one on Monday. Grrrrrrrrr... I have not gotten my paper back as of yet... I will let you know when I do.

Car troubles are a pain but hey I would rather that than no cars at all.Hope the days to follow are better for you.
